Meet the Therapist

Introducing Jacinta…

After 20 years as an Occupational Therapist, I’ve made the exciting decision to open my own practice — a step that feels both deeply meaningful and energising. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people across the lifespan, from age four right through to older adulthood, and across a wide range of clinical and community settings.

My experience includes:

  • Education settings, working alongside students and teachers within school environments

  • Public and private hospitals, including emergency, acute wards, outpatient/day therapy, and rehabilitation

  • Community services (private and not‑for‑profit), providing in‑home and community‑based therapy

  • Residential aged care, supporting older adults to maintain independence and quality of life

Working with individuals of all ages and in such diverse environments has given me a strong understanding of how to support clients and their families as they navigate key life stages, transitions, and the everyday challenges that come with them.

I have a particular passion for:

  • Daily life skills — getting ready for the day, personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping

  • Supporting occupational roles — being a student, friend, sibling, coworker, or community member

  • Readiness to learn — self‑regulation, environmental setup, executive functioning, handwriting, and fine motor development

I’m genuinely excited to collaborate with clients and families, and to support positive, realistic, and achievable outcomes.
